PRESIDENT of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, PFN, Rev. Felix Omobude, has called on all Nigerians to eschew all forms of hate and provocative speeches, kidnapping and terrorism in whatever form, arguing that Nigeria’s unity was paramount.
The PFN president reiterated that it was disheartening that some Nigerians still continued to engage in acts capable of threatening the peace and unity of the country through unguarded hateful pronouncements. Felicitating with all Muslims in Nigeria and all around the world on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-Fitr, Omobude congratulated them on the completion of this year’s Ramadan season, praying that the occasion should be seen as a joyful time of celebration for everyone and to usher in greater peace and prosperity in the country. He enjoined all Nigerians to embrace mutual tolerance and understanding in their conduct and relationships, irrespective of faith, ethnicity or gender, to take Nigeria to greater heights in the different areas of life. The PFN President, therefore, called on all religious leaders to continue to lift the country in prayers so there could be an end to bloodshed in the country. Omobude also used the occasion to pray for divine wisdom for those in public office, so they could guide the nation in the right direction.
